Kathmandu Mayor balen Shah is using his spare time to fly kites during Dashain.

🎉 Nowadays, children are busy playing games on mobile phones and computers.

Even though there is little time in such a culture, parents were found buying kites afternoon to teach their children how to fly kites.

It is not that kites are not flown in Dashain in cities and villages outside Kathmandu Valley, but especially in Kathmandu Valley, this practice is more prevalent.

Watching colorful kites fly in the clear blue open sky is a joyous moment in Dashain.
