President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has been welcomed by Kathmandu Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah (Balen) and Vice President Sunita Dangol at Kamalpokhari. On the occasion of Chhath festival, they welcomed the President who came to Kamalpokhari to offer offering prayers to the setting sun. Before coming to Kamalpokhari, President Bhandari reached Gaurighat and observed the decorations there and worshiped Chhathi Mata.
