Nepalese rupee has become even weaker

As the value of the dollar continues to rise in the world market, the Nepalese rupee has become even weaker. Recently, the US central bank, the Federal Reserve (Fed), increased the interest rate and the value of the dollar has weakened the Nepalese rupee.

The value of the dollar, which was higher than the value of about 2 months ago last Friday, rose to 129 rupees 89 paise per US dollar on Sunday. On the same day, the purchase price set by the National Bank was 129 rupees 29 paise. According to the National Bank, the exchange rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 130.90 on Tuesday.

Similarly, the National Bank has stated that the purchase rate of one US dollar for Tuesday is 130 rupees 30 paise, which is the highest exchange rate of the dollar so far. Last Friday, the selling price of 1 US dollar was 129 rupees 68 paisa and the buying price was 129 rupees 8 paisa. Last Friday, the price of the dollar rose, breaking the record of 2 months ago. Earlier on 5 July 2079, the selling price of 1 US dollar reached 128 rupees 29 paisa and the buying price reached 127 rupees 69 paisa.
