Kathmandu. The famous young cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, who is called a fugitive, has written a strong status in the middle of the night. He said that he is planning to come to Nepal. His status has become viral in no time. His status has been widely shared in no time.

I was lucky enough to be included in the national cricket team at the age of 16. It was not something that could be earned by my little hard work. With positive thinking, tireless hard work and constant efforts to improve myself, along with my family, friends and elders who support me, with the support and blessings of my entire cricket team, I have been able to reach the position I am today.I have always moved forward with the desire to keep Nepal’s name high in the world cricket world. I feel proud to make the name of Nepal known through my hard work.I came to know on August 22 that the complaint was filed against me on August 21. Regarding the false accusation against me, news came out in the electronic media and social media in a unique way, without understanding the truth, and on the basis of false accusation, my character will be severely damaged. The news that a warrant has been issued in my name and that the complaint against me has been made public, I am mentally disturbed I was not able to think about what to do and what not to do. All these things affected me mentally on one hand and on the other hand I had to go through illness and due to mental stress and ill health I kept myself in Isolation.

I have been mentally and physically affected by the portrayal of the criminal on the basis of false accusations, and I have been brought back to normal with the advice of doctors and my health is gradually improving and I am planning to return to Nepal as soon as possible to respond to the false complaint against me.

I am a normal family man who has been passionate about cricket since childhood. Cricket and my country were the only priorities in life for me. I think I also have a role to make Nepali cricket known internationally, be it as a player or as a captain. I am an honest cricket player who has been playing with his life for the nation, today I feel that I am the victim of a serious conspiracy.

I will fight the legal battle against the perjury cases that will convict me in my absence. As far as I understand, the constitution of Nepal states that I am not considered guilty until proven guilty. Also, I understand that the constitution includes the right to live with dignity, the right to freedom from torture, the right to privacy, the right to health and the right to consult with my legal practitioner.

I would like to express my gratitude to my respected parents, brothers and sisters, friends and cricket lovers, my supporters who have good faith towards me and Nepali cricket and I humbly request you all not to spread rumors against me or me.🙏

If proven guilty Lamichhane may have to spend 10-12 years behind bars as per Nepal’s legal provision.
